The announcement follows the news that E4 will also be screening a feature length 90 minute, Made in Chelsea Christmas Special, in December.The show follows the lives of a glamorous group of globe-trotting young socialites and first aired on E4 in May, becoming the channel's highest rated non-scripted debut.Series 2 finishes Monday 21 November and is averaging 701k viewers to date, with the total average audience rising to over 1 million, when consolidated and VoD viewing is included. More than half of the audience is aged 16 to 34.Made In Chelsea also remains one of Channel 4's most talked about programmes, trending worldwide on Twitter and generating a total of 475k tweets to date.Series 2 introduced a new online element with three 30 minute live video webchats in the form of ‘Live in Chelsea'. A first for E4.com, this online spin off consolidated 90K users who had the opportunity to watch cast members take questions from Twitter and Facebook and enjoy exclusive preview clips.To further harness the show's strong presence across social media, E4 is the only UK television network working with GetGlue; A new social network for entertainment that allows fans of the show to 'check-in,' earn virtual and physical stickers and share their activity with their friends on Facebook and Twitter.Commissioning Editor David Williams said: "With such a loyal audience tweeting, checking-in and following the lives of our new TV stars, it's fantastic to be once again returning to the hallowed streets of the Royal Borough of Chelsea."Exec Producer, Sarah Dillistone from Monkey said: "We're delighted by the connection so many people have made with the show, its cast and the incredible world they live in. Kimberly accused Cheska of betraying her and said she had never been hurt by someone so much in her life – despite the fact she barely knows the girl. She said she had never cheated on anyone and Binky decided to step in and say that Diego contacted her not vice versa. Cheska ended up telling her that they aren’t friends and Kimberly’s response was to tell her to stop meddling. Richard tried to create some peace amongst the gang but Cheska ended up storming off and feeling bad for getting involved in everyone’s lives. Does she deserve to feel bad about what she did?
Despite all the other cracks in friendships, Ollie and Gabriella seem to finally be over all their drama... about time! Richard decided to tell Kimberly that he sees them as being in it for the long term, so at least he managed to put a smile on her face.
Back in London Jamie and Francis wore matching grey sweatshirts – perhaps a sign they’re spending too much time together. The boys and Proudlock went to a violin recital to meet some ‘cultured chicas’ but Jamie fails to impress them with his line about how he used to play the recorder. So he decided to stay at home all alone by himself whilst the others all went for drinks with Spencer, Louise, Hugo and Natalie.After last week’s bombshell, this week’s episode started with Louise arriving back from Dubai with Spencer, who found Jamie waiting for them.
And he definitely let rip! The f-ing and blinding didn’t stop as he confronted them. To sum it up he called them animals, called Louise weak and told her he was glad she was crying.
Francis, bless him, decided Jamie needed some cheering up so he took over a crate of beer and they had a heart to heart. But seeing as it's Made In Chelsea, the advice was slightly unusual. Francis said to Jamie “When dealing with betrayal I try to think about what Jesus would do... Jesus forgave Judas.”
The girls however took a different approach to cheering up Louise, so they headed to a spa for the weekend to help her relax, but of course that wasn’t what ended up happening. Everything seemed to be going well until Rosie, Victoria and Cheska turned up – Millie wasn’t happy about it seeing as she didn’t invite them along. Cut to Rosie, who decided to tell everyone what loyal viewers have known all along, “I really dislike Millie”, ermm yeah we kind of gathered that love.
In true Made In Chelsea style the drama continued. Rosie decided to confront Millie about her less than welcoming behaviour saying: “The way you reacted this morning was pretty disgusting ... you’re f***ing rude”. Millie isn’t happy – again. So her solution to the situation a bit of sarcasm and a dramatic walk out.
Yet again Binky seemed to be everyone in Chelsea’s agony aunt. First she spoke to Spencer about his behaviour in Dubai and then she convinced Jamie to meet up with Spencer to chat things out.
Jamie met up with Spencer for a drink and told him “Our friendship is over” because “you never do that to one of your boys never ever.” Do you think they’ll ever make up?
Louise made up her mind of who she wanted to be with and yet again Spencer ended up by the river with a girl he likes (anyone reminiscing the Spaggie days?). Louise told him she wants to give him a shot. Spencer looked all loved up but will he want her now he has her?
Kimberly’s secret was revealed by Binky – her old boss that Diego was Kimberly’s ex and they were still together when she dated Francis, Jamie and Spencer! Meanwhile she was on a date with yet another guy.
