The theatrical trailer of the movie has hit the web.Lolo plays the role of Sanjana, a supermodel. Her husband, played by Rajniesh Duggal, is the son of a big industrialist and vanishes under mysterious circumstances. The film, a re-incarnation drama, revolves around her quest to save him, and the lengths she goes to in the process.
The films also stars Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, Sameer Kochar, Gracy Singh and Ruslaan Mumtaz.
"The strength of Dangerous Ishq is its mind blowing idea. The part that she gets to play in the film is a dream role for any actor. Karisma too understood that when Dangerous Ishq was narrated to her. She comes with enough experience to gauge a film's strength at the script level itself. Once she agreed in principle, we developed the film a little bit more and were ready to roll," director of the film Vikram Bhatt told PTI.
The director, who has films like Ghulam and Raaz to his credit, said he was initially apprehensive about casting Karisma in the lead.
"We were a little doubtful if she would do it but then the consensus was that she would be fabulous in doing a film like Dangerous Ishq. Once we met, everything fell in place."The new poster and trailer for Dangerous Ishq have been released.
The film’s star Karisma Kapoor is seen in the poster wearing a red dress and striking a pose reminiscent of Angelina Jolie.
Speaking to Masala about the trailer’s launch, the 37-year-old actress said: “I don’t know the fate of the movie. We have worked really hard. Making a 3D film is not exactly easy. The promos have come out really exciting.”
The Zubeidaa star also described the experience of shooting for Dangerous Ishq as “the best time of my life”.
She went on: “The role was challenging and a lot of fun. It’s a different role – and by that I mean people will literally see me in different avatars.”
Kapoor has refuted suggestions that Dangerous Ishq is a comeback film.
