The song starts off pretty well with the mixture of a heavier and a lighter tone of guitar and you tend to love it at the start itself. You will get a tiny doubt whether this is a cine song or a song from some pop album. The song is neither fast paced nor slow paced by medium paced (pun intended). Nice use of the percussion and the guitar. This is a peppy number. The mood is romantic. Although the song lacks variety, you feel like hearing it again and again and the credit goes to Suchitra for carrying it off so well.Altogether this is a very good creation by Mouli, a not-so-familiar name in the cine music circles. Just like the name of the movie, the songs also look new and fresh. This is his debut album but I must say that this is one talented man we can’t afford to miss. The fact that Mouli can create such wonders in his debut album itself speaks volumes about his potential and talent. One can expect a good background score in the movie as well. The album has a mix of Rap as well as melody.
Although there could have a couple more songs to enjoy and the repetition of the songs Nana re nana re and Chupultho Maatlade could have been avoided to introduce a fresh song there, the songs that are in the album are a treat to the ears. Even experienced musicians struggle to bring out a song with the same tune and same lyrics differently, but hats off to mouli for succeeding in that endeavor. Sada Chandra too does not disappoint with his romantic lyrics. The lyrics for the rap song have been well written by Mouli himself so as to create the feel of an actual RAP song. The Rap song is a unique attempt at rapping Telugu words and also bringing in a duet style in RAP. The song nana re stays in your hearts and minds even after you stop hearing it. That is the sort of song that can have the potential to top the charts. The selection of the right singers for the song is something that Mouli acquires naturally. His selection of Suchitra proves it. The album depicts the romantic essence of the movie and seems to gel well it. The album targets the youth and will no doubt be a hit among them.The entire song is only for 50-odd seconds. It is sung in chorous by a female group and the flute towards the end gels so well with the mood of the song. It seems to suggest a sad mood but it is enjoyable as a song. The flute replicates the tune of the earlier song of the same name but the flute instrumental soothes you more than the original itself.
